We’re frequently asked:

What is LASIK Eye Surgery?
The most popular and well-known laser refractive procedure to treat vision issues is LASIK eye surgery.
Who is suitable for LASIK Surgery and who isn’t?
For patients who have reached ocular maturity and are 18 years of age or older, LASIK surgery has FDA approval. a stable prescription, i.e., one that hasn't changed for at least two years in a row. It's critical that eyes are generally healthy, free from infections, diseases, and injuries. Eye drops may be prescribed before and after surgery to use for a short while.
What are the different types of laser eye surgery?
LASIK, SMILE, PRK, and surface laser treatments are the three main types of laser eye surgery. Some types, such as LASIK may require a flap in the cornea to be created, and eye drops be applied before surgery.
When do you see LASIK results?
After LASIK eye surgery, most people are able to go back to work within a few days. After the first month, it is quite uncommon for any patient to need eye drops. Your eyes are tougher than they appear, and they will heal with time. You may also notice improvements in your vision before the three to six month recovery period is complete.
What will LASIK do (and what won’t it do)?
The tissue in the front of your eye is permanently altered, and these modifications last your entire lifetime. However, as we age naturally, most people's vision deteriorates over time. Your vision may blur again as you age because LASIK surgery cannot stop this.
