When do you see LASIK results?

Posted November 30, 2015
When do you see LASIK results?

One of the best things about LASIK is that the results come so quickly. Quickly, as in within seconds of having the procedure. The “Wow” effect is often seen mere moments after a LASIK operation, once the patient sits up on the bed and opens their new eyes for the first time and says “Wow!” Having personally witnessed thousands of successful LASIK operations, I can attest that it is a pretty reliable utterance.

The ‘Wow’ effect is mainly associated with LASIK

We don’t see the ‘wow’ effect as often with PRK, and that’s understandable because it takes about a week for patients to feel like their vision is stabilizing enough to appreciate the clarity.

In the grander scheme of things, both LASIK and PRK deliver the same results, with PRK’s results having only a slight delay.

Many patients can’t help but say “Wow” a few moments after they rise from the bed after having LASIK.

So, do you have any related questions to the one we answered just now? Let’s see your question in the comments below and we promise to reply!
