The Alcon Refractive Suite – Ex 500 Laser and Femtosecond Laser

We offer laser vision correction surgery utilizing the latest in laser technology – the Alcon Refractive Suite. The Alcon lasers use advanced WaveLight® technology which created a “map” of your eye and captures all of its features, enabling us to get optimal results.

The WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser

The EX500 Excimer laser is the fastest excimer laser available today – operating at 500 Hz. It provides not only the fastest multidimensional eye tracker, but also delivers a precise pattern of pulses to the cornea which reduces the risk of halos and glare at night. The laser can also measure and monitor the thickness of the cornea during and after the procedure. Additional benefits of the EX500 Excimer laser include:

The WaveLight® FS200 Femtosecond Laser

The FS200 Femtosecond Laser provides the fastest flap creation times – approximately 6.0 seconds. The flap is tissue on the outer layer of your eye (cornea) which helps promote better vision, rapid healing and comfort. It also makes the flap creation process more precise and safer. By combining a small focus with low pulse energy and a distinct cutting pattern, a more precise and accurate flap is created.
